NIGHTS IN MADERA

From persons to objects, from manipulator to manipulated, Ivika Meister and Nikolaus will sweep you away into a dance where the magic of circus intermingles with the cruelty of the fun fair freak shows.
To the backdrop of Portugese music of the 60’s (hence the title Night in Madera) this brief clownesque performance with neither words nor set combines the arts of juggling with physical theatre.

LE SOLO SHOW OF THE CENTURY

Mr Kunz is the German equivalent of Mr Average. Yet there's nothing banal or monotonous about this character.

Mr Kunz comes into the ring with a blue plastic bag in his hand, ready to put on the show of the century. But things elude him: he struggles just as much with the objects he is trying to manipulate as he does with himself. Standing up, on his knees, on his head or stretched out doing the splits, Mr Kunz sticks at nothing to satisfy his passion for juggling.

A clownish entrance, from an acrobat-juggler who moves like a breath of air.
