Following a proposition of Nikolaus, the troup supports and produces the first solo of Rémi Luchez.

BIOGRAPHY

Rémi Luchez is a circus artist. He works the slackrope and acrobatics using the language of the clown.
After graduating from the Centre National des Arts du Cirque (French National school for circus skills) at Chalons-en-Champagne, he toured during two years with Toto Lacaille, a collective show of the class of 2006, and participated to Trois petits points... directed by Nikolaus.
His first solo Miettes (premiere on January 2009) is one of 2008’s awarded projects of Jeunes Talents Cirque Europe.

MIETTES

With Miettes, a solo for a clown on a slackrope, Rémi Luchez gives life to a galery of characters, both troubling and cheerful, acrobats and object manipulators.
He finds the inspiration for each character through the manipulation of simple materials (four wooden branches, an iron spool, a ball of clay and metallic hooks) which he transforms while on stage.
Rémi Luchez wishes to create the conditions of a simple and priviledged encounter with the public and choses a direct and universal language and a small and circular scenic arrangement.
