Accompanying singers (Ernesto Rondo) and tango dancers, Olivier Manoury took part in numerous tours and festivals all over Europe, before performing in his own groups.
He has been invited to participate in a range of jazz, tango and improvised music recordings, working with musicians such as the Angolan singer Bonga and Dee Dee Bridgewater. In collabortion with the double bass player Yves Torchinsky he produced an album dedicated to the music of Thelonious Monk.
In addition to composing and arranging music for these collaborations, Olivier Manoury has written and played for the cinema (« Sale comme un ange » by Catherine Breillat, "Haut les coeurs" by Solveig Anspach), the television (music for the series "Novacek" on French national channel 2), the theatre (music by Edmond Rostand, under the direction of Jérôme Savary at the Théâtre National de Chaillot) and ballet (world tour with Maurice Bejart’s "Che Quijote y Bandoneon").
He has written music for and performed in shows by the clown-juggler Nikolaus since 1999.
